Lead cooking at e11even with ingredient preparation and plating expertise. Support kitchen colleagues in a high-volume environment at MLSE.
As Lead Cook, you will support the e11even team while working alongside 2nd Cooks and Dishwashers. You will follow Chef direction, apply proper cooking techniques, and help deliver specified final products. The work includes meat, fish, sauces, recipes, and presentation standards. You will also help maintain food safety, organization, and guest-focused service.
Key Responsibilities: Gather, wash, cut, season, cook, and store ingredients
Support, train, and direct 2nd Cooks and Dishwashers
Prepare and plate food according to specifications
Maintain clean, organized, protected work areas
Report equipment problems and product discrepancies to Chefs
Requirements: Minimum two to three years of relevant experience
Availability for days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Food Handler Certification considered an asset
Red Seal Certification considered an asset
Strong communication skills and pressure-management ability
Bring dependable kitchen leadership, cooking technique, and food safety practices to Lead Cook service at e11even.
