Provide trauma-informed nursing care overnight in Calgary, using clinical judgment, phlebotomy, and client-centered support. Work 7PM to 7AM on a four-on, four-off schedule.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Urban Response, you will support the Episodic Medical Care Clinic and Rapid Response Team. Deliver accessible healthcare to guests facing barriers to mainstream services. Apply nursing expertise across treatments, immunizations, health education, assessments, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate nursing care independently within scope of practice
Provide immunizations, treatments, and specialized clinic support
Educate clients about prevention, sexual health, and harm reduction
Perform phlebotomy and laboratory services safely and respectfully




Assess needs and develop personalized health strategies
Requirements: Accredited two-year Practical Nursing diploma
Current Alberta practical nursing registration without restrictions or conditions
Valid professional liability insurance and current CPR-BLS certification
Working understanding of Trauma Informed Care
Vulnerable Sector Check and solid community resource knowledge
Bring practical nursing expertise, trauma-informed care, and resourcefulness to overnight health services supporting Calgary guests and their recovery.
