Support inpatient and ambulatory care pharmacy services at Toronto General Hospital with sterile compounding and drug distribution expertise. This is a permanent full-time position.
UHN seeks a Pharmacy Technician for its Pharmacy department, reporting to the Manager. You will assist pharmacists with technical drug distribution, prepare sterile and non-sterile products, and support pharmacy team operations. The schedule includes days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
Key Responsibilities: Support pharmacy teams across various sites
Work under direct pharmacist supervision
Prepare sterile extemporaneous pharmacy products
Prepare non-sterile extemporaneous pharmacy products
Train new employees and manage assigned duties
Requirements: Complete an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
Hold Ontario Part A registration in valuable standing
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication
Manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
Learn and troubleshoot changing pharmacy technologies
Bring hospital pharmacy knowledge, technical distribution skills, and adaptable service to UHN’s Toronto General Hospital Pharmacy team.
