As a Shunt Truck Driver, you will satisfy client shunt requirements and maintain timely information in YARDVIEW, AS400, and shunt logs. The position requires start-of-shift pass-downs, vehicle inspections, equipment care, and organized trailer compounds. You will also deliver bills, report issues, and complete final yard checks.
Key Responsibilities: Complete pass-downs with outgoing shunters and yard supervisors
Inspect the shunt truck and document defects or damage
Record every shunt and door time accurately




Keep trailers aligned and compounds orderly
Fuel, clean, and maintain the shunt truck
Requirements: Availability for full time 12-hour Continental shifts
Ability to arrive 15 minutes before scheduled shifts
Ability to report issues to yard supervision
Willingness to work nights alone with gates secured
Ability to complete required vehicle inspection reports
