Apply clinical nutrition expertise as a Registered Dietitian at Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario, supporting patient-focused care part time.
This temporary, fixed-term position serves as part of the Health Care Team. You will provide nutrition assessments, diagnoses, interventions, and monitoring and evaluation. The work includes managing oral diets, enteral and parenteral nutrition support, medications, labs, and IVs through medical directives and delegated acts.
Key Responsibilities: Provide patient and family focused nutrition care
Complete nutrition assessments and nutrition diagnoses
Deliver nutrition interventions and monitoring evaluations
Manage oral diets through medical directives
Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support, medications, labs,



and IVs
Requirements: Maintain registration in positive standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
Bring at least two years of acute care hospital experience
Demonstrate enteral and parenteral nutrition experience
Use MS Office and hospital information systems or EMRs proficiently
Prioritize workload independently and collaboratively
Use clinical nutrition, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary communication to support patients through Southlake Health care in Newmarket.
