The Business Development student supports projects across Value Partners Investments, now part of Canada Life. You will analyze portfolios, research companies, support portfolio managers, and assist Investment Counselling. The work provides insight into investment decisions and client communication.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze client portfolios and investment statements
Develop marketing content, presentations, and client materials
Support portfolio managers with research and data gathering
Maintain accurate Investment Counselling client records




Research portfolio companies and investment considerations
Requirements: Current post-secondary studies in business, finance, economics, or related fields
Robust analytical and critical-thinking skills
Interest in investing, financial markets, and business strategy
Excellent written and verbal communication
Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Build practical experience in portfolio research, investment analysis, and client communication as a Winnipeg Business Development student.
