Support Gordon Food Service customers in Amherst, Nova Scotia, using communication, order processing, and issue resolution skills. This is a full time position.
As a Generalist, Customer Care, you will handle day to day inquiries through phone, email, SMS, and chat. You will support orders, deliveries, credits, and e-commerce technologies while assisting District Sales Representatives. The position requires accurate, effective service and adaptable problem solving.
Key Responsibilities: Provide customer service across phone, email, SMS, and chat
Process orders and resolve customer issues accurately
Arrange exception deliveries with transportation and delivery providers
Process appropriate customer credits and invoice inquiries
Support Recalls Communication Management as needed
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and one year experience
Inside sales or customer service experience
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
Ability to perform 10-key data entry
Bring customer service, order entry, delivery coordination, and accurate issue resolution to Gordon Food Service customers.
