This Instructional Assistant supports high school learners in MITT’s Industrial Welding program. You will reinforce faculty-provided content, assist with theoretical and practical skill development, and support blended or online learning. The position also helps students become independent classroom, school, and community members.
Key Responsibilities: Provide instructional support under faculty and management direction
Reinforce program content and review assigned materials
Assist students developing theoretical and practical skills
Support blended learning and online course participation
Prepare classrooms and program equipment before and after use
Requirements: Grade 12 diploma
Related experience in the program field
Experience using online learning tools, specifically D2L Brightspace
Certificate in Adult Education considered an asset
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Bring student support, skilled trades experience, and online learning capabilities to MITT’s Industrial Welding instruction team.
