Support residents’ daily living needs as a Health Care Aide at Meadow Ridge Seniors Village, following individualized care plans under nursing direction.
The Health Care Aide is an interdisciplinary team member supporting personal, social, physical, spiritual, and recreational needs. This role promotes resident independence, dignity, autonomy, and safety while following Park Place policies. Work schedules include 0700-1500, 1500-2300, and 2300-0700 rotations.
Key Responsibilities: Provide holistic personal care according to individualized resident care plans
Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, transfers, meals, and hydration
Observe resident changes and report relevant information to nurses
Document relevant resident information before the shift ends
Maintain protected,



clean, homelike resident environments
Requirements: Graduate from a recognized Health Care Aide program
Current registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
Demonstrate patience, kindness, compassion, and respectful collaboration
Ability to perform lifting, walking, reaching, bending, and pushing
Bring compassionate resident care, safe transfers, effective communication, and documentation skills to Meadow Ridge Seniors Village.
