Support prescription dispensing and pharmacy services as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store. Deliver timely customer service.
This position assists with technical dispensing functions, pharmacy services, and daily Pharmacy operations. You will follow Pharmacy Standards of Practice, maintain confidentiality, and refer clinical inquiries or counseling needs to the Pharmacist. Solid organization, multitasking, problem solving, and attention to detail support accurate workflow.
Key Responsibilities: Gather prescription information according to established Standards
Accurately dispense, count, measure, package, and label medications
Process third party adjudication and billing requirements




Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to Pharmacists
Maintain dispensary cash register, records, and privacy requirements
Requirements: Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
Previous pharmacy experience preferred
Effective organizational and multitasking skills
Strong problem solving and attention to detail
Apply regulated pharmacy technician expertise to accurate prescriptions, compliant administration, and considerate customer service at Shoppers Drug Mart.
