Perioperative nursing expertise meets ophthalmic care at LASIKMD Victoria, preparing operating rooms and supporting surgical procedures. This is a permanent part-time position.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will prepare instruments, consumables, medications, and sterile scrub tables. You will assist the Ophthalmologist during procedures, monitor sterility, document charts, and communicate information. The position supports patient safety through risk reporting and requires travel between Victoria and Vancouver locations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms, instruments, consumables, and medications
Organize equipment and sterile scrub tables
Assist the Ophthalmologist during ophthalmic procedures
Monitor surgery to maintain sterile conditions
Complete charts, forms,



and patient safety reporting
Requirements: Current Licensed Practical Nurse designation
Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals
Completed perioperative nursing program from a post-secondary institution
Excellent English communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
Versatile Wednesday-to-Saturday availability and willingness to travel
