Provide clinical laboratory service as a Medical Laboratory Assistant I at Pincher Creek Health Centre, using phlebotomy and specimen handling skills.
This regular part-time position supports clients through effective, efficient, and safe laboratory services. You will perform procurement, handling, processing, dispatching, and testing of specimens. The work also includes laboratory procedures and reporting results. Strong communication, teamwork, technical skills, and adaptability are key for this position.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high quality service to clinical laboratory clients
Procure and handle laboratory specimens safely
Process, dispatch, and test specimens
Perform laboratory procedures and report results
Support effective and efficient laboratory functions
Requirements: Accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program completion or equivalent
Strong phlebotomy skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong teamwork, technical skills, and adaptability
Recent rural experience is an asset
