Maintain safe, welcoming buildings as a Cleaner with WoodGreen in Toronto, using janitorial equipment and careful attention to detail onsite.
This contract Cleaner supports WoodGreen’s Housing & Homelessness Services Building Services team. You will perform routine and emergency cleaning, occasional light maintenance, waste handling, and meeting-room setup. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for 35 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Clean floors, washrooms, stairwells, windows, laundry rooms, and elevators
Place garbage bins for scheduled City or contractor pickup
Operate garden tractors and floor buffers safely
Respond to emergencies and support other departments
Maintain tools, equipment, keys, and assigned communication phone
Requirements: High School Diploma
Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience
Solid verbal and written English proficiency
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
Ability to drive a tractor to move bins
Bring reliable cleaning, equipment operation, and safety practices to WoodGreen’s onsite Toronto properties and community spaces.
