ENQORE Developments has been building and operating residential communities in Nova Scotia since 1996. We develop, construct and manage our own properties, and our property management team works alongside our development, construction and accounting groups to deliver well-run buildings and a robust resident experience.

Summary

Reporting to senior management, the Property Manager will lead residential operations across our portfolio of approximately 500 apartment units in the Halifax area. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will set the standards, shape the team, and be accountable for both resident satisfaction and financial performance.

Responsibilities

- Provide leadership and oversight for property management operations, including tenant relations, leasing, renewals, move-ins, move-outs and service standards
- Manage property budgets, operating performance, rent collections, arrears and expense control in coordination with the accounting team
- Oversee maintenance programs, vendor and service contracts, repairs, inspections and capital planning across the portfolio
- Establish and maintain property management policies, procedures, controls and reporting standards
- Support the hiring, training, supervision and performance management of property management personnel and on-site staff




- Review property performance reports and implement improvements with the senior management team

Qualifications

- Required: Experience managing a multi-residential portfolio
- Required: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Required: Strong financial skills, including budgeting, variance analysis, arrears management and expense control
- Required: Working knowledge of the Nova Scotia Residential Tenancies Act and the tenancy board process
- Required: Experience managing vendors, maintenance programs and capital projects
- Preferred: 5+ years of residential property management experience
- Preferred: Experience with lease-up or new-building turnover
- Preferred: Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Rent Manager or similar) and MS Office

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
