This Speech Language Pathologist position provides patient and family-centered care within acute care standards. You will assess communication and swallowing, establish diagnoses, create intervention plans, and collaborate with interprofessional teams. Patient education, documentation, and outcome evaluation support optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Assess communication, speech, voice, and swallowing abilities
Establish diagnoses, prognoses, goals, and intervention strategies
Implement treatment and educate patients and caregivers
Collaborate on care, transfer, and discharge planning




Evaluate responses and modify intervention strategies
Requirements: Current College of Health and Care Professionals of BC registration
Applicable College certifications
Knowledge of speech-language pathology theory and practice
Knowledge of communication and dysphagia testing methods
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bring assessment, dysphagia, intervention, and patient education expertise to Fraser Health’s acute care rehabilitation services.
