Loblaw is hiring a full-time Grocery Manager for its Wholesale Club location in Penticton, BC. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day department operations and meet sales and profitability goals.
Train, develop, coach and motivate department colleagues.
Maintain merchandising, stocking, pricing, cleanliness and safety standards.
Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment with other departments.
Manage departmental expenses and assist with budget preparation.
Work with store management and other department managers to support store-wide goals.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Previous retail management experience,



preferably in a department or specialty store.
Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management and customer service.
Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Availability for a versatile schedule, including nights and weekends; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Hiring range: $40,000–$50,000 per year. Pay may vary based on experience, knowledge and location. Candidates aged 18 or older must complete a criminal background check.
