Halton Healthcare seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for permanent part time work in GH Emergency. The position supports complex transitional care populations and requires patient centered care, wound care, and electronic documentation. Availability for 0.50 FTE is required.
Key Responsibilities: Work with complex transitional care populations
Provide patient centered care in emergency services
Administer medications according to established requirements
Perform physical assessments and wound care
Maintain IV lines and enter documentation electronically
Requirements: Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Heart and Stroke approved Basic Life Support certification
Experience working with and advocating for elderly patients
Medication administration certification and experience
Experience with enteral feeding and electronic documentation
