West Fraser’s Cariboo Pulp is recruiting an Instrument Mechanic/Technologist reporting to the E&I; Supervisor. You will work within Electrical and Instrumentation, collaborating across the division. The work includes equipment maintenance, field troubleshooting, programming adjustments, DCS communication, and analyzer repairs.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain instrumentation equipment across the site
Troubleshoot and adjust equipment in the field
Maintain DeltaV programming and hardware
Repair and perform preventive maintenance on site analyzers
Verify reliable, accurate instrument readings
Requirements: Journeyperson Instrumentation Mechanic or Instrumentation Technologist qualification
Experience reading engineering drawings
Electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting experience
Computer experience for records and documentation
Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends
Bring instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and communication skills to support Cariboo Pulp’s reliable operations in Quesnel.
