This temporary full time Unit Clerk supports Nursing and Physicians under the Nursing Supervisor’s direction. The position contributes to patient experience, acute care, and emergency services. It also provides filing support for Health Information Management and coordination across ANHH departments.
Key Responsibilities: Greet clients, patients, and the public
Provide telephone support and direct calls
Book surgeries, laboratory tests, and external appointments
Coordinate patient travel for appointments and transfers
Process physician orders and complete requisitions
Requirements: Basic medical terminology is an asset
Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions
Combination of education and experience considered
Ability to perform clerical duties and data entry
Ability to complete word processing and filing
Bring reception, appointment booking, and clerical skills to acute care services at All Nations’ Healing Hospital in Treaty 4 Territory.
