This Winter Seasonal Operator position supports winter and seasonal highway maintenance from October 1 through April 30. You will operate snowplows, wheel loaders, and other equipment while assisting with labourer duties. The work is based across Ontario and requires outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snowplows, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment
Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round
Assist with pothole and guardrail repairs
Clean bridges and signage
Remediate highway hazards outdoors
Requirements: Valid AZ or DZ license with air endorsement
Provide a three-year commercial driver’s abstract
Lift 50 pounds regularly during physically demanding tasks
Work shifts, on-call periods, and night shifts
Snowplow truck or wheel loader experience is an asset
