Deliver safe, patient-centred care as a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse at Providence Care Hospital in a non-acute setting. Support patients and caregivers across clinical transitions.
Working within an inter-professional team and full scope of practice, you will provide direct care at Providence Care. The role addresses physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs while supporting quality of life. You will evaluate patient responses and contribute to care planning.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective, patient-centred care to assigned patients
Evaluate health status and provide direct care
Establish preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care priorities
Advocate for patients and their caregivers
Evaluate care outcomes and modify care plans
Requirements: Active, unrestricted College of Nurses of Ontario license
Current CPR certificate
College certificate required; diploma preferred
Medication Certificate meeting Ontario College of Nurses requirements
Seek assistance when needs exceed scope or available skills
Bring patient-centred care, qualified judgment, and full-scope nursing practice to Providence Care Hospital’s non-acute setting.
