As a Food Service I, you will perform routine food preparation duties within Nutrition Food Service. You will prepare, portion, package, and serve meals according to menus, standards, and procedures. The work supports patients, residents, staff, visitors, and community customers.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, handle, portion, and package food and beverages
Assemble kitchen trays for patient meal service
Deliver and pick up patient meals
Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas
Follow AHS safety, sanitation, and preparation standards
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to lift 46 pounds and push meal carts
Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
Food service or customer service experience preferred
