As a Senior II Software Engineer, you will join a team of software engineers and architects.

This requires a mindset of building resilient, fault-tolerant software to run at five 9's availability and high levels of performance and reliability, in both centralized and regionally deployed architectures. As a Senior II Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Contributing to the design and implementation of highly available, scalable, and performant solutions Building reliable and regionally deployed IAM systems that are fault-tolerant tolerant Building, integrating, supporting and improving IAM services on the Akamai Compute Platform Designing and developing tools to make the deployed software operate seamlessly Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Have 5+ years of experience with Python or Java Have extensive experience developing software in a Linux environment Have a track record of delivering reliable and secure software Possess solid knowledge of IAM technologies Whether you're streaming live events, scrolling social media, watching your favorite series, or managing your savings, we're the engine behind the scenes. The base salary for this position ranges from 120,400 - 216,600 CAD/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
