This B-Pressure Welder reports to the Welding Supervisor and collaborates with the shop team. The work centers on GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and MCAW welding across pressure applications. You will interpret blueprints, follow Welding Procedure Specifications, and maintain exact fabrication quality.
Key Responsibilities: Execute precision welds using GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and MCAW
Coordinate daily fabrication schedules with supervisors and lead hands
Verify work against blueprints, WPS, and quality standards
Maintain safe, organized,



hazard-free shop areas
Move materials using cranes, forklifts, boom lifts, and rigging
Requirements: Valid Alberta Journeyman Welder Trade Certificate
Active B-Pressure Qualification
Superior TIG proficiency, including ambidextrous TIG preferred
Five years of pressure piping fabrication preferred
Pass the practical shop weld assessment
