The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Health Care Aide for Home Care at Access Transcona. This 0.80 FTE position supports clients in community settings, with duties requiring safe personal care, workload organization, and effective communication. Experience supporting people with physical or cognitive impairments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Provide secure, effective personal care respectfully
Communicate with clients, families, and coworkers
Organize and prioritize assigned workload
Transfer and transport patients and equipment
Travel between clients’ homes when required
Requirements: Recognized Health Care Aide course completion
Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license
Reliable vehicle or willingness to travel year-round
Basic computer skills using Word and Outlook
Ability to work shifts and weekends
Support Winnipeg community clients through respectful personal care, clear communication, critical thinking, and organized Health Care Aide practice.
