Structural engineering expertise shapes safe food and beverage facilities at Dennis Group, using analysis, design, and AutoCAD skills. Travel to project sites occurs as needed.
As a Structural Engineer II, you will support complex industrial projects and independently handle simpler assignments. The work spans calculations, computer analysis models, building codes, and structural systems. You will help design current processing facilities and alterations to existing facilities.
Key Responsibilities: Perform hand calculations and create structural analysis models
Determine building codes and site-specific amendments
Design framing, foundations, façades, and lateral systems
Coordinate structural work with other disciplines
Review submittals, RFIs, drawings, and calculations
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Four to seven years of relevant structural experience
Experience with structural analysis software and AutoCAD
Experience drafting with AutoCAD and Revit
EIT or Professional Engineer license
Apply structural analysis, building-code knowledge, and design judgment to Dennis Group food and beverage projects.
