Metrolinx seeks a Plant Utility Person for Station Operations West. You will maintain facilities, grounds, and plant equipment safely and effectively. Duties span building maintenance, equipment operation, emergency measures, and winter snow control.
Key Responsibilities: Perform programmed maintenance, repairs, painting, and carpentry
Service plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, civil, and structural systems
Operate and maintain vehicles, equipment, and assigned tools
Prepare work, deficiency, vehicle, equipment, and material records
Perform snow, ice, and environmental emergency measures
Requirements: High school-level reading, writing, and learning skills
At least nine months of building and grounds maintenance experience
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment
Valid Ontario Class G licence and valuable driving record
Ability to obtain required permits, certifications, and training
Support Metrolinx operations through facilities maintenance, equipment operation, winter control, and safe plant service at Middlefield.
