This continuing Learning Support Worker position starts as soon as possible. Working under teacher and qualified direction, you will assist students in regular or alternate programs. The position supports individual and group learning while contributing to the school-based team when required.
Key Responsibilities: Foster and develop individual student potential
Assist teachers delivering regular or alternate programs
Support individual and group students
Advocate for students within the school-based team
Work with school and district staff
Requirements: Grade 12 completion with a Dogwood Certificate
Education Assistant Certificate program completion
Six months supporting children or youth with disabilities
WHMIS 2015 Certificate
Familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
