Interior Health seeks an experienced Community Health Worker for Vernon & District Home Support. You will work with Nurses and LPNs to support community clients’ independence and ability to remain home. The position combines personal care, meal preparation, household duties, mobility assistance, observation, and delegated tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
Prepare meals according to designated plans
Support client mobility and transfers safely




Observe and report changes in behaviour or condition
Complete delegated tasks according to training and procedures
Requirements: Grade 12 education
Recognized Resident Care Aide or Home Support Worker graduation
BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registry number
Valid British Columbia driver’s licence
Reliable vehicle for community visits
Support patient independence through overnight personal care, mobility assistance, and home health services in Vernon with Interior Health.
