Shape bilingual digital news from Halifax through writing, editing, and content rollout for CBC/Radio-Canada’s Atlantic regional platforms. This is a full-time, in office position.
As Digital Producer, you will oversee content for Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador. Reporting to the Senior Manager, News and Programming, you will guide digital coverage, audience engagement, and promotion across platforms. The work includes regional web pages, social media, audio, video, and mobile projects.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise production staff assigned to digital platforms
Write and edit digital news articles
Oversee regional web content rollout and promotion
Format audio and video for web publication
Guide special digital and mobile projects
Requirements: University degree or equivalent
At least five years’ experience, including three in broadcasting
Three years creating and publishing web or social content
Advanced English and French language skills
Portfolio of three produced and rolled-out digital projects
Use bilingual communication, digital journalism, and leadership skills to serve Atlantic audiences through CBC/Radio-Canada platforms.
