Support children bilingually as a full time Program Assistant in Russell, Ontario, using communication, empathy, and CPR skills. This position is on-site.
Working with educators, you will support daily group functioning and children’s development in a safe, caring, stimulating environment. You will assist with routines, daily activities, and individualized support for a child with special needs. The contract runs until August 2027.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with educators to support daily group functioning
Support children during routines and daily activities
Promote children’s development within the group
Provide individualized support for a child with special needs
Promote inclusion and participation within the group
Requirements: Excellent French and English proficiency across four language skills
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Valid vulnerable sector criminal record check within six months
Be at least 18 years old
Communication, interpersonal, patience, empathy, and flexibility skills
