Cloud identity and security expertise support HWCDSB as a Technical Analyst administering messaging, access management, and infrastructure services in Hamilton.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this Technical Analyst supports enterprise messaging, identity lifecycle automation, cybersecurity initiatives, and cloud services. The position uses Microsoft 365, PowerShell, technical documentation, and troubleshooting to improve availability, security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Administer mailboxes, groups, mail flow, retention, and archiving
Develop PowerShell account provisioning and offboarding automation
Monitor identity integrations, exceptions, logging, and audit trails




Review security alerts and support threat-hunting and incident response
Provide advanced support for messaging and identity incidents
Requirements: Three-year advanced college Computer Sciences diploma
Three to five years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and identity access management
Experience with PowerShell automation and technical documentation
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Apply cloud administration, PowerShell automation, and security operations expertise to strengthen HWCDSB messaging and identity services.
