Support resident care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Southbridge London East in London, Ontario, working temporary part time evenings.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN administers medications, treatments, and assessments within the long term care home. The position supports resident care plans and multidisciplinary meetings while following College of Nurses of Ontario, Long Term Care, and Southbridge standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assess residents and evaluate individualized care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and physician orders
Observe, report, and record resident conditions
Direct restorative and palliative care activities
Supervise, train, and evaluate assigned staff
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate
Registration or eligibility with Registered Practical Nurses Association
Current First Aid and BLS certificates
Knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and infection control practices
Negative vulnerable sector check and completed two step TB test
Bring nursing assessment, communication, and resident care expertise to Southbridge London East during evening shifts in London.
