Use material handling expertise and adult learning skills as a Forklift Trainer for Aptech Employment’s client in Mississauga, ON. Travel between client locations as required.
This Forklift Trainer role supports safe, efficient equipment operation across warehouse environments. You will train employees on stand-up counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, walkies, and other material handling equipment. The work includes safety compliance, documentation, and skilled communication.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct forklift and MHE training at client locations
Teach employees to operate specified warehouse equipment safely
Apply adult learning principles during practical instruction
Follow MHE legislation and occupational health standards
Maintain training records, data entry,



and documentation
Requirements: Minimum five years of Material Handling Equipment experience
MHE Train-the-Trainer certification or willingness to complete training
Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills
Knowledge of warehouse operations and MHE safety regulations
Flexibility for shifts, travel, and varying warehouse temperatures
Bring MHE operating experience, instructional ability, and safety knowledge to train warehouse employees throughout Mississauga client locations.
