Position Overview Title: Intermediate Systems Administrator (Information Technology)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (based on operational support)
Site Overview This position is based out of our Corporate IT hub in Etobicoke, Ontario, with hybrid flexibility depending on location. You will support and enhance enterprise technology environments that power operations for teams across Canada and the United States.
What You'll Be Doing Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 services.
Support enterprise virtualization platforms, storage networks, and backup infrastructure.
Monitor system availability, perform upgrades, and execute routine patching and maintenance.
Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, working alongside the Service Desk and third-party vendors.
Apply security controls, investigate system alerts, and support Zero Trust architecture principles.
Develop PowerShell scripts and automation routines to streamline IT operations.
Assist with business continuity planning, disaster recovery tests, and new office setups or relocations.
Maintain explicit technical documentation and coordinate system maintenance with internal partners.
Must Haves 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or IT operations.
Practical experience administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
Proven ability to write scripts using PowerShell or standard automation tools.
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals and systematic troubleshooting skills.
Post-secondary degree, diploma, certification, or equivalent practical experience in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Nice-to-Haves Experience managing Azure or AWS cloud services.




Hands-on work with Nutanix or other virtualization systems.
Familiarity with Veeam Backup & Replication.
Exposure to Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) or Microsoft Teams Phone.
Knowledge of SQL Server management or Five9 contact center systems.
