Investigate by-law complaints and conduct inspections as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer I with the Municipality of Clarington in Bowmanville, Ontario.
This position enforces municipal by-laws and applicable Provincial legislation through education, voluntary compliance, and enforcement action. You will focus on parking enforcement, animal services, property maintenance matters, and routine by-law activities. Key Responsibilities: Investigate parking, animal services, and property maintenance complaints
Issue Parking Infraction Notices and Provincial Offence Notices
Conduct inspections, gather evidence, and manage enforcement files
Handle and transport domestic animals and wildlife safely




Prepare correspondence and attend court proceedings when required
Requirements: Two-year college diploma in a related discipline
One to three years of enforcement or investigative experience
Knowledge of municipal by-laws and applicable legislation
Strong conflict resolution, communication, and report writing skills
Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence and criminal record check
