This Licensed Practical Nurse role serves the Operating Room and Minor OR program. You will assess, plan, implement resources, and evaluate perioperative care while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires demonstrated operating room experience and is not a training position.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with assessing perioperative patient care needs
Plan and implement resources within surgical suite care
Evaluate perioperative care for surgical patients
Collaborate with disciplines across the surgical suite
Provide patient and family centred care
Requirements: Accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program completion
Active or eligible Alberta Licensed Practical Nurse registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Accredited peri-operative program completion
Current acute peri-operative experience within two years
