This nurse position provides health services through a Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy team. You will assess health status, determine indicated vaccines, and support services for hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and anticoagulant therapy. The work also includes patient education and nursing service development.
Key Responsibilities: Take blood samples from patients
Assess health status and vaccination status
Provide indicated influenza and herpes zoster vaccines
Identify vaccines based on travel destinations
Welcome patients professionally and caringly
Requirements: Membership in the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec
DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing
Familiarity with the PIQ
Knowledge of travel health
Ability to work with the pharmacy team
Use vaccination assessment, blood sampling, and patient care skills to support Shoppers Drug Mart nursing services.
