This Journeyed Trade, Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) classification covers industrial equipment, machinery, controls, facilities, and infrastructure. You will fabricate, assemble, install, commission, operate, maintain, test, and repair trade-related systems. The work also includes interpreting drawings, diagnosing malfunctions, and completing preventive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications for equipment work
Diagnose malfunctions and take required corrective action
Troubleshoot, maintain, test, and repair industrial systems




Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain records
Supervise apprentices and staff when required
Requirements: Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate
Ability to perform the position’s physical requirements
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to cooperate and deal tactfully with others
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
