Support older adults through wellness programs as an Activity Aide at Chartwell, using creativity, compassion, and strong communication skills.

As an Activity Aide, you will help create meaningful resident experiences through engaging programs and services. You will support wellness across all dimensions while encouraging participation in daily activities and special events. This role also uses organization, collaboration, relationship-building, and Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Help plan and deliver programs supporting all wellness dimensions
- Encourage residents’ participation in activities and special events
- Monitor and record participation and engagement levels
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, inclusive activity space




- Prepare calendars, posters, and newsletters for programs

Requirements:

- Previous customer service experience
- Experience working with seniors is a robust asset
- Post-secondary recreation, gerontology, or social work education
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency with excellent organization
