The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre seeks a Clinical Trial Financial Control Analyst for a temporary, full time, 12-month contract. Reporting within Finance, you will support Oncology-sponsored studies through budget reconciliation, billing validation, cash monitoring, and variance analysis. The position works with the Oncology Directorate, Principal Investigators, Clinical Trial Billing Team, and research operations to protect financial integrity throughout study lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities: Reconcile negotiated budgets against clinical activities and pass-through expenses
Validate billing outputs against study activity and sponsor agreements
Quantify deviations, outstanding balances,



and collection risks
Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliation packages
Complete close-out reconciliations and maintain audit-ready documentation
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Three to six years in research finance, project accounting, or analysis
French and English communication skills, spoken and written
Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities
Clinical research operations and billing process knowledge
Apply financial analysis, bilingual communication, and clinical research knowledge to strengthen Oncology study controls at the RI-MUHC.
