Emergency management expertise supports Halton Healthcare’s hospitals across Oakville, Milton, and Georgetown, with weekday day shifts and full time permanent employment.
The Emergency Preparedness Advisor develops, maintains, and tests the hospital’s emergency management program across multiple sites and off-site locations. The work includes policies, education, simulations, and Incident Management System processes. You will coordinate emergency codes, regional partners, fire safety alignment, and accreditation support.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain corporate mitigation, planning, response, and recovery programs
Develop emergency preparedness training, policies, procedures, and exercises
Lead organizational responses to standardized emergency codes




Coordinate simulations with hospitals and community partners
Co-chair the Emergency Preparedness Coordinating Committee
Requirements: Post-secondary degree and emergency management certificate, or equivalent
Minimum five years of related experience
Demonstrated project planning and management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
