Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units for Gat Leedm Logistics in Prince Rupert, with day and night shifts supporting protected freight transportation.
This full-time Class 1 Driver position transports goods throughout Prince Rupert and surrounding areas. You will follow delivery schedules, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate with dispatch. The work requires strong load securement knowledge, safety focus, and dependable independent performance.
Key Responsibilities: Operate tractor-trailer units safely during scheduled shifts
Transport freight according to schedules and customer requirements
Complete inspections, logbooks, bills of lading, and daily logs
Secure cargo and follow applicable load safety regulations
Communicate routes, timelines, issues, and mechanical concerns
Requirements: Valid British Columbia Class 1 Driver’s License
Two to three years of commercial driving experience preferred
Clean Driver’s Abstract and strong safety commitment
Ability to work nighttime and adverse weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
