Lead creative day camp programming in Surrey with The Salvation Army, using teamwork, communication, and child-focused supervision skills.

As a Summer Day Camp Counsellor, you will support Surrey Ministries staff and promote holistic care for families. Plan and deliver biblical games, crafts, stories, and enrichment programming for kindergarten, elementary, and youth participants. Build inclusive relationships while supervising campers, collaborating with staff and volunteers, and representing dignity, service, stewardship, and hope.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan daily themed artistic and creative hands-on camp components
- Lead group and individual camper projects and activities
- Provide open-ended activities for early morning arrivals
- Assist with recreational programming, setup, cleanup,



and registration
- Communicate with parents and address behavioural concerns alongside coordinators

Requirements:

- Experience working with children and knowledge of child development
- Experience leading children through Vacation Bible School material
- Ability to share Christian faith through activities
- First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Responsible Adult Certification and required screening and training
