You will guide infrastructure, tooling, operational processes, and customer-facing work while coordinating priorities across engineering. The role supports product growth and develops a small, senior team.Key Responsibilities:
Own Private Cloud infrastructure, tooling, and operational processesPartner on proofs of concept, security reviews, and access negotiationsPrioritize work across SaaS and Private Cloud engineering teamsBuild feedback loops between Private Cloud and SaaS infrastructureGrow, hire, onboard,
and develop the engineering teamRequirements:
Three-plus years managing highly technical senior engineering teamsExperience operating production on-call rotations and prioritizing operational healthExperience with on-premises, private cloud, BYOC, or single-tenant softwareKubernetes and AWS fluency for design and incident reviewsCustomer-facing experience with enterprise security, access, and procurementBring engineering leadership, customer partnership, and operational judgment to Honeycomb Private Cloud’s distributed Tenant team.
