Instrumentation and automation expertise supports Emergent’s Winnipeg operations through equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance. Work includes rotating shifts and weekend coverage.As a Specialist, Instrumentation and Automation, you will support the gloveless robotic filling isolator and production, laboratory, and test equipment. The role provides subject matter expertise for complex programming, technical investigations, CAPEX projects, and reliability improvements. You will apply control valves, transmitters, process instrumentation, CMMS, and regulated-setting knowledge.Key Responsibilities:
Support filling changeovers, calibrations, maintenance, and equipment upgradesTroubleshoot complex equipment programming and instrumentation issuesRepair production, laboratory,



and test equipmentSupport deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and investigationsRecommend reliability, efficiency, and quality improvementsRequirements:
Technical diploma in instrumentation, robotics, or equivalentSix-plus years of related experience preferredCMMS experience required;
SAP Plant Maintenance preferredKnowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements requiredAbility to work rotating shifts and weekendsApply instrumentation, automation, calibration, and troubleshooting expertise while supporting regulated manufacturing equipment in Winnipeg.
