Join the Food & Beverage team at DoubleTree by Hilton Edmonton Downtown, where we take pride in delivering friendly, attentive service and memorable dining experiences. We are looking for a Part‑Time Server who enjoys working in a fast‑paced hotel setting, connecting with guests, and representing the warm hospitality Hilton is known for.

The Part‑Time Server is responsible for providing prompt, courteous food and beverage service to guests while maintaining Hilton quality standards. Servers should be energetic, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. This position aligns with server duties found in real DoubleTree Hilton roles, including banquet and restaurant service.

Key Responsibilities

Service Standards & Operations

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit.
- Set and reset tables, ensuring proper linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments.
- Prepare the service station and ensure cleanliness and readiness for each shift.
- Follow Hilton brand standards for hospitality, service delivery, and guest interaction.
- Process payments accurately and follow cash‑handling procedures.

Teamwork & Communication





- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and supervisors to support smooth service flow.
- Support catering during peak times and collaborate across the F&B; team.
- Report guest concerns to supervisors professionally and promptly.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred; hotel or banquet service experience is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, guest‑focused approach.
- ProServe certification may be required.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physically active tasks during service.
- Banquet skills are valued.

Schedule

- Part‑time, with shifts primarily on morning and weekends.
- Additional hours may be available during peak business periods or events.
