Harrington's VW & Audi is hiring a service advisor. We're an independent shop at 6041 Stairs Street in Halifax, working on Volkswagen and Audi only since 1963.

What you'll do

- Greet customers, book appointments and write up repair orders
- Explain repairs and estimates to customers in plain language and get approvals
- Keep customers updated on their vehicle through the day
- Work with the technicians on scheduling and keeping jobs moving
- Order parts and track them in
- Close out invoices and take payments

What we're looking for
- Service advisor or service writer experience at a shop or dealership. VW or Audi experience is a plus
- Good with people, at the counter and on the phone
- Organized and comfortable on a computer.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.

- Valid NS driver's licence
