Prepare patient meals with Alberta Health Services using food preparation and meal service skills at Innisfail Health/MH Care Ctr. This is regular part time work.
As a Food Service I, you will support Patient Food Services within the Nutrition Food Service team. The work includes routine food preparation, portioning, packaging, and meal service. You will follow established standards and procedures while supporting patients, residents, staff, visitors, and community customers.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare food according to established guidelines and menus
Package and portion food items accurately
Serve meals to patients and customers
Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas
Support quality patient, resident, and customer experiences
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46 pounds
Ability to push and pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
Ability to walk and stand throughout the shift
Food service or customer service experience preferred
Support Alberta Health Services meal delivery through safe food preparation, portioning, sanitation, and patient-focused service in Innisfail.
