Cook for Carewest in Calgary’s Sarcee location, preparing meals and rethermalization products while supporting safe, sanitary dining service. Casual day and evening shifts are available.
Reporting to the Manager, Food Services, you will provide customer service to clients, families, visitors, and staff. The Cook I position requires independent judgment while following client diet plans and Carewest standards. You will manage quantity and quality controls, communicate effectively, and maintain professional, ethical, and safe practices.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and produce cooking and rethermalization activities
Follow client diet plans during food preparation
Maintain protected, sanitary, aesthetically pleasing dining areas




Provide compassionate customer service to Carewest customers
Complete related food services duties as required
Requirements: Grade 12 graduation or equivalent education and experience
Minimum two years of cooking experience
Food Safe Course graduation
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
Ability to prioritize, take initiative, and solve problems
Bring cooking expertise, food safety knowledge, and independent judgment to Carewest’s client-focused Food Services team in Calgary.
